One of my new favorite dresses photographed at one of my favorite places, Cranbrook. It’s a campus in Michigan that holds many memories. I’ve spent a lot of time roaming around and it’s so peaceful. It is rich with history and the gardens are perfectly manicured. I wish there was a place like it in New York.
These photographs were taken by one of my favorite sculptures on campus. It is located behind the historic Cranbrook house, which is insanely beautiful. Surrounding the house there’s a sunken garden, formal gardens, bog garden, herb garden, wildflower garden, Oriental garden, sculpture, fountains and a lake. My goal is to have that many gardens one day…
In this look I am wearing a beautiful paisley print dress by Unif from MissKL. (This dress is on sale!) I was shocked to find that Unif makes this dress! I absolutely love it. It is sheer but has a slip underneath. It has a really interesting design. It is cut slightly higher near one leg so it appears to be a shorter dress, very a-symmetrical look which gives this vintage inspired dress an edge. I paired it with sequined tights and my Matiko heels from last year.
The sun is finally shining upon Brooklyn so I am off to explore with Noelle and take pictures! Enjoy this day, wherever you are!
