My dear friend Lexi was telling me about one of her friends from high school, April, and how she owned this beautiful horse named Winston. Originally I had planned on photographing this too good to be true Free People dress at Watkins Glen, but rain and all that plan fell through.
So, when Winston came up the idea of meeting him and photographing his ever so beautiful self sounded too good to be true! Lexi and I decided to make it a little day venture to hang out with April and Winston so we headed to Jersey with three outfits in tow. When I travel, especially on day trips I try to fit in as many outfits as possible so I can continue to update as frequently as I can for you guys. So I look like some kind of crazy lady hauling a bunch of bags with boots spilling out everywhere when I go on these kinds of shooting adventures!
I spent most of my high school years drawing horses and various animals and I absolutely love these beautiful creatures. They are really the most fun to photograph! I also took pictures of Winston’s friend Pinot, who will be coming to the blog shortly as well.
April was the sweetest and truly did wonders to help me capture these images. I am so thankful for friends and kind strangers who then become friends through art. After we shot we went to this cute little local spot for dinner, drinks and banter. I can’t thank her and Lexi enough for making my photographic dreams come true! Hehe.
I have just always loved the whimsical beauty that Free People has to it, and Winston really nailed it.
In this outfit… Dress and boots from Free People.
