I went back to the beginning of the beginning. I saw my blog evolve. I saw myself grow and change as a person, a being, and as an artist. I’ve probably had online journals since middle school. It’s amazing to go back and read them. Oh what a couple of years can do to a person… time can do so much.
It is also interesting to realize the people that have come and gone, and the people that have remained the same.
Oh the feeling of nostalgia and life when it was different. One thing I really miss is being able to get in my car and drive around listening to my favorite songs really loud. I’ll be doing that again soon. Next time I’m in the mitten.
I also really miss up north Michigan and the upper peninsula. I cant wait to make my return this summer. I feel so out of touch with nature sometimes, living in a concrete jungle.
