Here are my thrift finds from Michigan. As you can see, I have much luck with finding great coats! This winter I have accumulated about 20 coats I’d have to say. Coats were my 2011 obsession. The first coat (suede and fur) cost $9, the Edwardian dress was $20, the black faux fur coat was $5, and the red London guard like coat was $30. I did pretty well, I think!

To me, this look is reminiscent of more youthful times. Like in middle school, when everyone started to wear leopard print and spiked cuffs/belts because it was “punk” and “cool”. Sometimes it’s interesting what one can subconsciously choose to wear based on their past. Studded jewelery is making a comeback! I am seeing leather …
What can I say? I am obsessed with this coat that G got me for my birthday from ASOS. It is so clever! I’m really pleased with it. The hat is from Urban Outfitters, shoes from Topshop (Office London).
