Capes and Dr.Marten boots – the sequel.

I can’t lie, a good cape and a classic pair of Dr.Marten boots is one of my favorite combinations and has been since I started this here little blog. I managed to swipe this perfect cape from Topshop and it was on sale for $60 so I couldn’t resist! (Even though I am trying really hard to save money. Damn you, fall clothing.)

I am so excited to have this beautiful new pair of docs. They are a burgundy color so they go really well with lots of things. I love how they are an updated version of the classic boot that we are so used to seeing, the laces are leather which makes them very pretty and sleek. I also can’t stop buying and wearing thick knit socks with my boots. It’s a simple way to spice up your shoe situation. I have been getting socks from various places like Urban Outfitters and little Brooklyn shops, I sort of collect them in excitement for fall and winter.
