BRUNCHIN’ AROUND TOWN
I am huge on breakfast. I have to eat breakfast every day, regardless if it’s 8am or 3pm, I can’t miss it. I have tried practically every brunch place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I think I may have a couple still to try.
These images are from yesterday’s brunch at Sweetwater. Their two egg special for $9 is my second favorite breakfast, because of its price and it fills me up and doesn’t leave me feeling grossly full.
The brunch at Cafe Mogador (which they just changed from $9 to $10) is #1 in my book. It comes with two eggs any style, home fries, delicious toast, a cappuccino and an orange juice. I was sad to see they raised the price though. If there was a punch card for their breakfast special, I could have probably filled 20 by now.
I really miss Longman & Eagle in Chicago and Toast in Ferndale, MI. I feel like there are still so many brunches to be had in NYC though!

• 11 years agoBreakfast is definitely the happiest meal, it sets the tone for the rest of day! I always go to my favorite local cafe called Cool Moose, they have the best omelets AND a coffee bar so it’s pretty much a win win.
