Hi Rachel! I’m coming to Chicago in July (for the first time ever!!) to visit a friend, and i was wondering if you had any recommendations for galleries/museums/exhibitions, Thrift Stores, good eats, what ever else you can think of! Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. hope all is well! (also i was wondering what the price range for many of the thrift/second hand stores is? I know for example in NYC things tend to be pretty pricey, but i was wondering what they were like in chicago. Best, A.

Hey! I’ve only thrifted a little in Chicago, and it is a little more expensive because it is a big city. But I’m certain it will be cheaper than NYC. There are two places close to me that I love, Land of the Lost and Clothes Optional. For a sight, go to the Shedd Aquarium. The museum of science and industry is also really cool. There’s tons to see here, just explore!
