Day one was a success! Rachel and I thought we were definitely going to miss our first show because of traffic, but if you aren’t late then you aren’t a true New Yorker! I saw BCBG and Desigual. BCBG was great as always. I loved the floral details and the structured blazer jackets. The collars on the jackets were amazing and fresh. It was my first time seeing a Desigual show. It was very fun and full of color! The models looked like they were having a great time.
I chose to wear my python BCBG jacket with a cream Cameo dress from Cloak and Dagger underneath. (I actually styled this dress differently just a couple of days ago!) The shoes are my new baby JC’s from MissKL. I love how people at fashion week are blown away by my shoes and when they ask who makes them they are surprised when I say JC, mostly because I choose the ones that JC is least known for. My Lack of Color hat also grabbed many peoples attention.
Also, you may notice my hair has grown quite immensely overnight! 😉 My hairdresser Drew Schaefering (Instagram: @drewtaylorhair) in New York did a fine job dying my new Irresistible Me extensions. They are PERFECT. I love them so much and I feel like a princess wearing them. They took the dye wonderfully. No issues what so ever! I am going to have soooo much fun with these!
All in all a good day! It’s always great to see everyone again that I hadn’t seen since the last fashion week.
