Every year I look forward to visiting Blake’s Farm with my mom.

I love my October routines which include flying home to Michigan to see my hugely amazing family, eating all of the foods that I miss, seeing friends from High School, haunted houses and of course visiting Blake’s orchard. This place is actually magical. There are so many fun things to do there and they definitely don’t leave the adults behind, they have a full pretty new hard cider bar that is beautiful as well as a fire pit for everyone to enjoy their drinks by.

Their barns are full of the most adorable animals who love to be social and eat right from your hand. I love watching the little kids feed them with such excitement! My mom is specifically in love with one alpaca… I’m pretty sure she wishes she could take him home. She used to have a few goats so this is definitely something reminiscent of her younger years that she now gets to do with me every October.

Blake’s also has the friendliest staff, a great u-pick selection (I always go crazy on the raspberries) and a full pumpkin patch. They seriously have it all! Not only is their staff awesome, but they are very supportive of artists local and far. They encourage photographers and bloggers share their photos from their farm on social media so they can see what people are creating on their farm! I am all about supporting one another. It’s most certainly a two-way street. I have a post coming sharing one of my favorite local Michigan shops. Can’t wait to share that with you guys! Hopefully some of you out there live in Michigan and will stop by Blake’s.

Oh yeah, my outfit! I wore a really cozy look since it was pretty chilly. A sweater from Urban that Johnny bought me paired with a Free People blouse (that I’m obsessed with, it goes with everything!), a Forever 21 jacket and Freebird boots. This is probably my favorite fall look yet! Super cozy, comfortable and looks pretty alright too!

Hope you guys have a great weekend!

In this look… Topshop beanie, Forever 21 jacket, Freebird boots, Free People blouse and sweater from Urban Outfitters c/o my lovely boyfriend.

Looks beautiful!! I am all about supporting local farms! We have one that we go to here in Oregon and we’ve been going there the last 3 years to get our pumpkins. And every year it seems they are getting more popular. It’s exciting for them and they are the nicest people. 🙂 I love shopping local and supporting our own neighbors! Your jacket is sooo cute!! I can’t believe it’s from F21. And those FreeBird boots are amazing!! I need those in my life! <3
