First snow.

The first snow of the season hit Brooklyn today. I am so excited for my first full winter in New York.

Even being from Michigan and enduring cold snowy slush winters I can’t help but get excited for the first snowfall of the year. It’s easier for me to enjoy it knowing I don’t have to get in a car and drive. Even though it was a light snow, it was still beautiful. Holiday decorations are now in full swing. My neighborhood just put up these adorable holiday lights and it makes me feel so excited for Christmas!

Everything in my look was thrifted aside from my denim. I am really excited to say that since when I started my blog I wore nearly all thrifted/sale clothing. It makes me feel like my old self again. The hat, Dooney & Bourke bag and shirt are from Crossroads (the shirt is A.P.C.), Dr. Marten’s from eBay, the faux fur blazer is from Beacon’s Closet and my leather belt that I always wear with jeans I made from a thrifted leather belt and a buckle from Chicago.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and had a little bit of time to relax and prepare for the week to come!

    Love this outfit! That blazer is so great, love the color and fur trim. It doesn’t snow in my city so I am definitely envious of the New York snowfall you are experiencing haha.
