I just got home from a model casting for the American beauty show. I was going to be a hair model for Fhi heat, but unfortunately by the time Nikki and I rolled into the doubletree hotel, they already had all of the style only (no cut no color) models selected.
All of the stylists were from London, super nice and loved my look. I was chosen and pulled aside out of the crowd of girls that were anxious, but unfortunately when I was speaking to the stylist that wanted me he said they needed to color and cut my hair.
So I had to explain to him that I wasn’t in the place for that. I tried to reason with him but we both decided that changing my look probably wasn’t the best idea. I suppose it’s a huge compliment that I was chosen to do the show, and that my hair didn’t really need to be changed.
But sad that I missed out on this opportunity and $. This just really pushes me though to get involved in more fashion shows and get out there.
