Live in Feria: Q &A With Elliphant
The second artist as a part of my artist interview series with L’Oreal Paris Feria is with Elliphant. She has edgy blonde locks and her music is awesome . She is also Swedish, and you all know that Swedish artists and musicians have a special place in my heart! Her music has an electronic alternative hip hop vibe, definitely makes me want to get up and dance! Take a look below for the interview I did with her:
Q: How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
A: Windy, energetic and honest.
Q: How has music shaped your life and who you are today?
A: It’s everything. Elliphant took me over. Just look at me.
Q: Being in the spotlight, what makes you feel confident? How would you advise others to feel confident?
A: Crew made me confident.. Being part of something that makes you proud… nurture your mission and build purpose… You just have to get to know yourself and hold on to the love when it comes around. I am not always confident. I lose it all sometimes, life will teach you everything if you just do your lessons right.
Q: How does this new hair color make you feel?
A: G! It’s a new way for me to express my creativity. I’m really glad I went Platinum, it brought out a little bit of that forest spirit that I have inside. It’s something I never tried before and it’s fun.
Q: What is an important upkeep tip for someone with blonde hair?
A: Don’t wash it everyday, and make sure you use the right shampoo and conditioner.
Q: Feria is hair color for bold, creative people who want to express their individuality. How do you embody the Feria woman?
A: I am a woman in the world. I express myself, do my own thing and follow what inspires me.
Q: What was your favorite part about working with Feria?
A: Singing in Milk Studios in New York City..
Q: What is the most rewarding part about being a musician to you?
A: That you get to be a kid forever and no one tells you to grow up.
Q: What’s next in the life of Elliphant?
A: Mad Decent tour, new album coming September 25th… Headline tour in the USA. So much lovelli things… Blisseh
