I wanted to share some of the details of my NYC apartment with you. It certainly doesn’t compare in size with my previous Chicago apartment. But it’s definitely cozy and all of the important things I own (mostly furniture and clothes) fits. It’s actually amazing that I was able to bring all of my furniture. Honestly I am not able to ever part with it I don’t think. I started to collect my furniture in Michigan years ago and thrifted all of it, so it’s very meaningful to me. 

I love how much my cat Sebastian looks like a little male model in the second to last picture. So funny.

The mitten in the frame was made at a kids craft table by one of my cousins (she’s 29). She gave it to me during my last brunch the day I left Chicago to move to New York. It’s a mitten that says family so I thought it deserved a special place in my apartment. It’s kind of hilarious actually.

Once my apartment feels finished in terms of organizing and finding a place for everything, I’ll take more pictures. Who knows when that will happen really, since it is so dang small!
