I’m surprised how parkas are becoming increasingly more popular this year, I’m seeing them pop up everywhere! Though it shouldn’t come as a surprise because this season I am already discovering the wondrous advantages of the parka. Besides the fact that I’m from Michigan and well let’s be honest, Michigan winters require a heavy duty coat to survive, I love the rustic nature vibe that parkas have. I’ve been so into olive greens, army-inspired jackets and things that give the adventuring vibe. This parka is it.

This quilted parka is by aB. It’s a contemporary brand that mergers European aesthetics with New York sensibility, so their parkas are built for city life yet are perfectly warm and trendy. Their parkas embody an “effortless cool” for sure, I love the faux fur detail! The fit and quality are also right on point. Some other features include a detatchable hood, vegan-friendly leather accents, two-tone coloring with cotton twill and flannel and a high collar for keeping warm.

All things that are key when selecting the perfect parka!

    I love this coat! I’ve been trying to find the perfect parka for this winter. One that isnt going to look like I’m going to trek through the Alaskan Wilderness when I’m walking through the city but something warm and dependable enough for camping and hiking trips. On top of that I’m super petite so its tough finding one that won’t look like a tent on me haha. I might have to add this jacket to my list <3
