Our little adventure to South Kortright & Monticello in the Catskills!
Our first AirBnB home was located in South Kortright. I had never heard of this city before, but Chris and I love to go to new cities and explore new things! We found the most perfect dog friendly house that was stocked full of antiques books on a little private pond with tons of acres.
We absolutely loved this house! South Kortright ended up having tons of great little restaurants to visit. There are also a number of antique stores nearby.
We had been given a Hyundai Veloster for the week to drive as a part of a collaboration I’ve been working on! I HIGHLY recommend having a car for this particular travel guide. We drove a lot since we stayed in two different cities. I really wanted to go to a lot of different restaurants and antique spots so having a car is very helpful for that!
Bear Mountain State Park
US-9W, Bear Mountain, NY 10911
This was my second time at Bear Mountain and I LOVE it! It is seriously the best view of the gorgeous mountains upstate New York has to offer. It’s soooo beautiful! It’s free to drive up in a car and it doesn’t take much time at all to go up and hang for a bit. You could easily have a picnic up there too! There are also restrooms which was really nice haha.
Clementine Vintage Clothing
72 Main St, Andes, NY 13731
Definitely the cutest vintage store we went to upstate! This type of store had a really great curated selection of colorful, fun vintage for really great prices. They also have a small room of home goods and antiques in the back.
Antique Room located in the back of Clementine Vintage Clothing
Wayside Cider and Tap Room
55 Redden Ln, Andes, NY 13731
Brushland Eating House
1927 Co Rd 6, Bovina Center, NY 13740
Our absolute favorite meal near South Kortright was at Brushland Eating House. It is on the pricier side but it hasn’t really really gourmet food and it is farm to table. We are pescatarians so we had to order a few different meatless dishes but they also have a great selection of meat dishes.

We drove an hour back towards New York City to stay the rest of our vacation in a romantic log cabin in the woods that was located in Monticello.
Monticello is a lot more scarce as far as restaurants go. We had breakfast at Monticello diner it is very low-key and affordable. Exactly what you expect from a diner.
If you’re visiting Monticello I recommend planning on cooking all of your meals at home. Most Airbnb is Comstock to the full kitchen with pots and pans and utensils and ours did so we made portabello burgers one night. There are wineries but they’re all about an hour drive from downtown Monticello.
One thing I love about Airbnb is is usually you can find one with a girl or a bonfire and cook over the fire to the really fun and unique experience when you’re up camping in the woods!
Table on Ten
52030 NY-10, Bloomville, NY 13739
This was by far the best brunch we had all of our trip! Table on Ten is a really cute place inside a house and they serve the most delicious skillet egg dishes. Their menu is super simple and the food was delicious! We sat outside with Finn and there were even chickens running around.
We visited Table on Ten on our way to our second AirBnB so I’d say it’s closer to South Kortright.
92 MAIN STREET DELHI, NY 13753
A suuper cute “made and found” boutique that was right near Wayside Cider Tap Room! I loved this store. It’s really cute and little but they have lots of cute treasures tucked away inside.
Our AirBnB in Monticello was really cute, definitely more rustic than the first one! It even had a hot tub in the back yard. This one was also on a pond with kayaks so we got to go kayaking a couple of times which I loved.
Finn seriously had the time of his life!
Seeing deer always makes my day! I love them so much. We really had the best time ever and can’t wait to go again! Please leave some comments below and let me know if you guys like little travel guides like this, because I loved making this one! Love you guys so much.

Those are some pretty good places. But I guess I prefer the one full of antiques books.

Great travel guide and outfits! It looks like you had a fantastic time exploring South Kortright and Monticello in the Catskills. I appreciate the recommendations on places to visit, especially Clementine Vintage Clothing and Brushland Eating House.
The pictures are beautiful and capture the charm and beauty of upstate New York. I love how you also included information about the Hyundai Veloster you were driving as part of a collaboration. Having a car certainly makes it easier to explore all the great restaurants and antique spots in the area.
