SATURDAY NOTES.

I never thought I’d say this, but I actually miss shooting in a studio. I’m all about the outdoors and following Kelley Ash on Instagram has inspired me more than ever to try to mimic her California vibes.

SERIOUSLY though. I wish my natural hair was as long as hers…

And I wish there were canyons and magical deserts nearby.

… sigh. Amaze.

I do feel very proud of myself and where I’ve come in terms of blogging over the past four years. I still can’t believe I live in New York. If anyone asked me two years ago if I thought that would be a possibility, I probably would have answered no. 3.5 years ago I was just a little Michigander wandering around the suburbs trying to find $2 thrift finds that would be cute enough to photograph.

I think I am really improving in terms of my outfits and photography, in the past few months especially. I couldn’t be more thankful for little lady Noelle that asked me to come into her store when I first moved to NY to meet her. And I did. And it was magic after that day because she liked me enough to want to devote her days off to my blog. It was meant to be!

Anyhow, my make-up tutorial will be live on my You-Tube channel today! I will be making a huge post with photos and the video probably tomorrow.
