It’s always so nice to escape the city sometimes. I love Brooklyn so so much but I really love to head to the woods for a few days for some peace and quiet. I was laughing at how my ears were actually ringing when Peter and I went to his parents house for Thanksgiving, my ears are so used to the noise from traffic, police cars and general hustle and bustle.

We went to some family friends houses on a lake for Thanksgiving dinner and the property and scenery was just so gorgeous I decided to go down to the lake near this cute little blue boathouse to snap some pics. I’m really drawn to the color blue lately. So random! But my love for red will always conquer 😉

I’m wearing this perfect vintage inspired dress from Act Three Apparel.

I have some really exciting news to share with you guys closer to my birthday so stay tuned! 😉

I love this dress and the tartan bow really makes it! I have far too many dresses like this already but another one can’t hurt? <3

I love your dress here, so cool blue. I love your outfit here. It looks like you are one of the characters in Harry Potter. Anyway, I think I need to buy color blue collections too. I love this blue polka dot print skirt, https://www.boutiqueken.com/cat/women-skirts/pro/720489. It would be a perfect outfit if I will pair it with blue fitted cashmere sweater, and knee length boots. Oh, this would be an excited Christmas outfit for me.

That looks like such a beautiful place! I think it is so important to escape the city every now and then. I live about an hour drive away from the mountains, and its so nice to be able to go visit, and get away from all the noise (although I would imagine Seattle isn’t nearly as noisy as New York!)
