I finally said bye to my adorable squiggle wall but it’s time for something fresh!! I painted an arch but wasn’t a fan of the color, found the right color (my favorite shade of green always wins lol 🐸) and added an antique mushroom oil painting, an art light and a maple shelf! Normalizing taking antidepressants here on my corner of the internet (because it honestly helped me so much) 🫶🏻 It can be so daunting to start, I started just three months ago at 34 years old. I had the bottle sitting in my medicine cabinet for months, and I was so afraid. I don’t really know why it was tough for me to start, but it’s so common to be nervous to take the leap and start a new medication. I feel like it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. I feel the most “me” right now than I’ve felt in years. I just wanted to share my story in case it helps one person. I’m going to be vulnerable here. The last month

I’m going to be vulnerable here. The last month has been very deep, difficult and transformative for me. I’m definitely amidst a healing era as I enter this new year. I used to have major panic attacks when dealing with a shift in life, but I’m learning as I’m in my mid 30’s now that with every change comes a lesson & it holds value in my purpose. I might not know exactly what that is yet, but I am excited to discover it. I’ve always found peace with myself taking self portraits — its one of my favorite way to experience emotion by myself through art. These photos are incredibly aligned with my mood lately.
