A day spent in the past.

A few days ago Noelle and I went to the Jazz Age lawn party at Governor’s island. It was really one of the coolest things I’ve seen in New York! I literally felt like I stepped right into the Notebook, which of course I have no problem with. Every guy had suspenders and a cute little hat, it was way too perfect! The ladies dressed like flappers with pearls and white gloves.

I wore a dress that I picked up at Lost and Found vintage in Michigan from my last trip. I was on the fence about this dress at first but I knew if I had left without it there would be a sense of regret. I am so happy I got it! It’s definitely a new summer favorite.

Love,

R.

I do not know why, but I think you always look like to Zooey Deschanel much. That’s who I think you always look.

Oh my gosh— so in love with that dress! You chose well. You look gorgeous (as always!) I wish we had Jazz Age-inspired big parties here– that looks like it was a blast! Your friend took some beautiful photos as well. 🙂 They really capture the spirit of the event.
