I’ve kept my eyes peeled for years for this jacket…

Do you have an older piece of clothing that you’ve searched high and low to find for years? This jacket was it for me. Primark had it around 2009 and one of my favorite bloggers Miss Pandora had it. She styled it so beautifully it was an absolute must-have for me, but it was from Primark in the UK so there was no way of me obtaining it.

When years had passed I still thought about this jacket and how perfect it is. I’ve had various red military inspired coats since but just nothing compared. I needed this exact one! Consumerism beat me again hehe.

I’ve been stalking eBay and poshmark for this jacket and finally by searching some really random terms I FOUND IT. A lovely gal in London was selling hers and I immediately messaged her and asked if I could outright by it for pretty much triple what she was asking, because I wouldn’t dare risk losing this baby. It was my size and everything. It really was meant to be… this jacket. So that’s all this post is about!

How terribly cold it was yesterday while shooting this. I can’t believe the rapid change in weather here in NY. I was so cold I felt sick almost! But I do it for the art. I have to give you guys content. I’ll never let anything stop me!

I paired the coat with another old item which is these wildfox shorts and a new top from Primark. I have some new goodies coming soon to my YouTube channel so stay tuned!

xo

In this look… old Primark coat, Primark top, old Wildfox shorts and old Aldo boots.
