I love channeling a southwestern vibe, and this maxi dress from Sheinside really makes that happen. When the sun comes out from hiding after the winter, I always find myself dragging out my vintage pieces from the 60s as well as my cowboy boots. Perhaps going up north in Michigan every summer and spending time in the “country” has conditioned me to associate warm weather with wearing country inspired pieces. It makes me think of great memories as a child running around the grass up there in the sun listening to country music (because that’s what my family loves to listen to up there!) around the 4th of July. I really hope I get to go up there this summer! I have to make it happen.
