So I took an impromptu trip to Chicago. Somehow it just made sense to come back to my old stomping grounds and re-ignite some inspiration. I love New York but after a while it starts to feel the same in terms of shooting. Chicago offers a bit more nature and various ways to avoid the gritty city feeling.

Yesterday I went to Montrose harbor which is a special place to me because I used to live a few blocks away at one of my favorite apartments I’ve ever had. I used to always come here with friends to shoot and hang out because there’s an awesome view of the skyline from this little nature oasis.

I’m having a ton of fun here so far and I can’t wait to keep taking photos and adventuring! I do miss my cats though.

Love,

R.

I love floral prints in a dark background, so I couldn’t don’t love the outfit, and the boots are completly amazing.
I’m in love by the scenary of the picture, and the alive hue of blue of the water is so beautiful.
