This was my last day at the Lincoln Center during NYFW. (This is not the last FW post I have to make, however). This look was perfect for the dreary weather NY dished out. Even though it was raining and cold, there were still plenty of show-goers and photographers outside of the Lincoln Center. This was the look that I had published the following day in a Texas newspaper! How cool is that? I have to thank my readers for letting me know:
And thankfully one of my friends is going to mail me a copy to have. The look is very monochromatic which actually lends a good newspaper print quality, I think! The ombre tights are definitely working. I am also ever so thankful for the full credit they gave me with my blog and name at the bottom!
This look is featuring two items from one of my favorite thrift spots EVER, Crossroads Trading Co! They’re dotted all over the US and I can strongly say they’re one of my favorite thrift spots. I can’t go into that place without leaving with a piece I am super excited about.
I got my Jeffrey Campbell “Busted” creeper platforms there for 30.00! And I’ve seen so many pairs of JC’s there. None ever over 30 bucks. Unbeatable! My most recent crossroads find was this faux fur Zara jacket. I’m in love. It’s not all fur so it makes this piece easy to wear with a variety of looks. It’s a good in between regular coat/fur coat. Not too over the top!
And… their brand new Manhattan store JUST opened! So check it out if you can!
