Having a little break in between the NYFW madness!

NYFW can be absolute madness and very tiring at times. I decided to take a break from wearing heels and try some adorable new flats, that’s where these lovely Sperry flats come in! The history behind the brand is really fun. Sperry’s were originally invented out of necessity. The founder, Paul Sperry, was a sailor and an explorer. He was enamored with the power, freedom and unlimited possibilities of the sea which I think really shows through his collection.

As you all know, I am a huge fan of wearing boots and heels. I’ve been trying to expand my flat collection and these are just perfect. They do remind me of something Zooey Deschanel would wear and I’m perfectly ok with that!

Slipping these on made it so easy and nice to get to and from shows without having my feet ache terribly. It’s nice to not have to worry about that on top of everything else! I wore them to the Nicole Miller show with Chictopia. I absolutely loved so many of the pieces and of course it had a woodland theme which I am all about.

Do you own Sperry’s? I’m a huge fan now! I also ordered the duck boots and they are saving my life in the snow.
