… for both of us!

Today is a real special day because my blog turned 4 YEARS OLD! Damn does time fly by. I remember creating my blog on Tumblr and writing my first post. I feel like a proud parent. I’ll be doing a follow up birthday post probably tomorrow!

Today’s look features a perfect dress by Wildfox! It definitely suits my cowgirl needs and looks adorably western with the skull print on the front. I paired it with an amazing suede fringe vest from the 70′s that I swooped up from Lost & Found vintage last time I was in Michigan. And of course my black concho hat. It’s a goooooood hat.

Off to celebrate the blog birthday and get some new looks shot! Have a cupcake today in celebration!

My addiction and draw to military/uniform/marching band style jackets will never end I’m afraid. I am a sucker for anything with gold hardware. Classic colors like red and navy always look so amazing adorned with gold buttons and detail. It looks so classic and it always photographs so beautifully.

I don’t normally wear a lot of patterned tights or leggings, but damn when I saw these tights with suits printed all over them from Chicwish, I just had to have them. They add a lot to a look especially with a plain colored dress. I love them!

I hope it doesn’t rain again today, I really want to play outside and shoot!

Hello loves. What a lovely weekend I had! This look was a great way to end it. I love this dress that I got from Dahlia (it’s old, I’ve worn it a few times). And you all know how I cant stay away from nature/grass/trees. So of course I shot this adorable look near the water at the park. Oh, and how adorable are these sunglasses?! One of my readers made them for me and named them after my blog! So adorable. I love the vintage cat eye shape!

The title of this look is inspired by an amazing artist by the name of Gabriel Royal. I always see him performing with his cello in the subway stops in Brooklyn and he’s just so damn good. It makes me so happy when he’s around playing. I just wanted to give him a shout out because he definitely deserves it.

I styled this casual look for summer days that fall on the chillier side. I started with these beautiful leather Wolverine x Samantha Pleet riding boots. They’re such a good staple boot to have. It’s easy to style them with shorts, pants, or even tights with a pretty white dress for a vintage inspired look.

Also, can’t seem to take this vintage hat from the 70′s off my head. I love it way too much.

Just a casual look for this lovely Wednesday! The sun is out, which means I have to go play outside with some new looks, my camera and a Noelle. I recently received this adorable jumper from The Orphans Arms. I’d had my eye on it on their site for some time. The knit is incredible and has little flecks of color, which reminds me of confetti cake. It’s super soft and dreamy, not to mention sassy as hell even with the pink rabbit on it.

I just keep listening to Neil Young and being nostalgic and wanting to swim. I need to be surrounded by bodies of water in the summer or I just go crazy. That comes from a past of living the life of a fish at my community pool and spending the summers up north on the lake. My mom would have to drag me out of the water. This Wildfox bathing suit perfectly fits my needs for an adorable vintage inspired swim suit with that lovely Wildfox touch. I can’t wait to wear this in the Hamptons!

8. Painting a pair of Gap shorts at the event. I was really in my zone after a couple of moonshine lemonades.
9. Delicious Brooklyn brewed beer at the Nudie Jeans event.
