A matching set + an octopus.

It isn’t strange at all to carry a giant red octopus around, right?

When I found KruKruStudios on Etsy I fell in love with so many of their fun shaped bags. (I’m a huge Etsy junkie these days) They literally have a bag in the shape of everything… but I specifically was drawn to this adorable octopus. He’s really quite perfect if I’m honest. He has eyes and all of his tentacles. I loved that he was bright red with a grey underside. He fits just as much as a normal purse would and he also doubles as a backpack.

What to pair him with was fun when I was picking out clothes for this look. I went with an obvious perfect summer choice… my new matching set by Samantha Pleet. It has scalloped edges and is just too adorable! I had just stepped outside my apartment and instantly people were commenting on how cute this set was. It’s so light and perfect for summer. It’s been so hot here so I want to wear this all the time!

My octopus goes well with it too. I love that this set is almost like the perfect blank canvas – you can accessorize it so many ways for different occasions.
