Howdy howdy howdy.
Hello my lovelies! I apologize for my brief absence. I have been a busy bee running around Detroit and then Chicago (where I am right now!). I graduated on Saturday at the historic Chicago theatre and I will share photos soon!
I did this look in NY before I left for my trip. The funny story is, when Noelle and I started to shoot it, a wall of rain literally came down out of nowhere and there was a huge downpour, so we had to shoot it twice.
I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend! I’ll be shooting with Rachel (I hate blonde) today too, so stay tuned for that!
Love,
R.

Pony up!
As you all know, I never wear my hair up. I’m feeling in the mood to try new things lately, and I love it! I will definitely be rocking a messy pony this summer. I was stoked to go on a tour of the Modern Vice shoe factory in Manhattan last week, and Jordan and Natalie were so nice. They the gals a pair of boots. I was lucky enough to get these red summer jett beauties!
I am going to go thrifting today for pretty much the third day in a row. Nothing beats Michigan thrifting! Everything is so cheap and stores aren’t as picked over as they are in big cities. Good news for me!
Love,
R.

The Primary Color Movement.
A rainy dreary day in NYC doesn’t suggest to me to dress down. For this look I did the total opposite! My colorful ensemble was certainly turning heads on the street and making people smile. I just realized that out of nowhere I have this obsession for color blocking. I love rich reds and blues in a look. It’s powerful and artistic, reminds me of a Rothko painting.
The two key pieces in this look are the Da Sein socks, which are a designer sock for a great price that can really make a look amazing and basically… like a work of art. The shoes are Chaussure Lapin but I got them from MissKL because they have them on sale at an astounding price!
I am in Michigan now enjoying the perks of lots of cooked meals, roaming around a huge house and driving my Ford Focus hatcbkack, Jamie. Love it.
Love,
R.
